Assistive Technology is funded through school districts if it is mentioned in the IEP as a part of F.A.P.E. This will include purchase of the AT tool, maintenance, and training.

**If a student acquires AT from a district then it belongs to the district. The school can let the student take the AT home for educational needs, but it has to be returned to the district.
